Osasuna have struggled for consistency early in the new campaign and have just eight points to their name after seven games played, as they travel to Zaragoza for their Matchday 8 clash on Monday evening looking for their first win on the road after narrow yet disappointing losses at Mallorca, Granada, and Gimnastic Tarragona.
Gorritxoak have shown off as a tough side in front of the home crowd more recently and they’ve beaten Sporting Gijon and held Numancia to a goalless draw, finally capitalize on their great defensive displays. We’ll thus surely see them very motivated to build on the streak at Estadio de la Romareda but the home side will be no easy nut to crack.
Real Zaragoza come into the match with a three-game winless streak behind them but the 0-2 loss to Lugo was their only first at this ground, as they have shown off as a tougher side as they beat Rayo Majadahonda and Deportivo La Coruna, as well as held off Las Palmas to a 1-1 draw along the way.
We will now back Osasuna to build on such records and snatch a point in a Draw priced at 2.90. We have seen them very solid defensively over the past couple of weeks and Arrasate will now surely set up a similar challenge in Zaragoza as well.
With that in mind, we expect a very narrow contest in the making and a deadlock very tough to break, as we also back Under 2.5 goals FT at 1.60. We have seen both sides solid defensively and this does seem a great way to go about the fixture for those keeping faith we’ll see no winner on the day.
