Wales vs Czech Republic
World Cup Qualifying – Group E
Date: Tuesday 30th March 2021
Kick off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Millenium Stadium.

Wales will find themselves under immediate pressure as they lost their first game against Belgium 3-1 and the side led by the talent of Gareth Bale have an objective to reach the World Cup.

Of course Wales are in a difficult group and the Czech Republic are one of the strongest sides in it, this game will tell us a lot about Wales’ chances.

Wales opened the scoring away to Belgium which seemed to bring a lot of hope but they were quickly out skilled for quality and lost the game easily in the end.

Czech Republic followed up their resounding 6-2 victory over Estonia by drawing 1-1 with group favourites Belgium and that is why most will believe that they will finish at least in 2nd place in the group.

This should be much closer than the Czech’s last away game scoring six goals, and the two teams are a genuine threat to one another in what could be the most exciting but tense game of this particular group.

Wales vs Czech Republic: Head to Head

  • The last time the nations played each other was in 2007, when, at Wales the game finished 0-0.
  • The nations have only played each other 3 times with 2 draws and 1 win for the Czech Republic.
  • Two of their three results have finished with the correct score of 0-0.

Wales vs Czech Republic: Prediction

Even though this is only the 2nd game of their campaign in the groups Wales will feel that they need a win here. Not even a draw will do since they are the home side so there is perhaps more pressure on them to turn up and get a good result than there is for the Czech Republic.

We will back Wales to get the win, but there is some risk. Technically the Czech Republic are the better side but there will be a hunger and passion with desire for the home side to get all three points.

It could be very close and we expect that but this is also a game where a player like Bale needs to stand up and be counted and we expect to see a very entertaining game.

Wales vs Czech Republic: Bet Tips:

Wales to beat Czech Republic at 3.00 (2/1)

Anytime goalscorer: Gareth Bale of Wales at 3.75 (11/4).
