Ural vs Arsenal Tula
Russian Premier League
Date: Saturday, 29 September 2018
Kick-Off at 09:30 UK / 10:30 CET
Venue: Ekaterinburg Arena (Ekaterinburg).
Both Ural and Arsenal Tula managed to get their respective campaigns up and running with a couple of decent displays over the last couple of weeks. Uraltsy, who barely saved the top flight status last year, made it back-to-back wins within the past seven days to raise the spirits after a shaky start to the season.
The team led by Dymtro Parfenov first saw off Yenisey 1-2 on the road last Saturday. They then backed up such win on Tuesday, beating Neftekhimik 2-3 on the road in the Russian Cup. The Ukrainian manager gave rest to some of his main players in the cup clash against the lower-division outfit but it did not affect the final score as Uraltsy managed to progress to the quarter-final.
We could likely witness the continuation of a BTTS trend in H2H games between these two likes. Arsenal Tula have also been thriving in the final third of late, bagging eight goals in last three games in all competitions.
They saw off Krylya Sovetov 4-0 at home two weeks ago before playing a 2-2 draw to Rubin Kazan last weekend. Oleg Kononov’s troops went past Sakhalin 1-2 on the road in the mid-week cup action.
The value is enormous in backing goals at both ends at the odds of 2.00. Seven of last eight games Ural played saw the BTTS option “come in”. The same scenario happened in each of last two of Tula’s outings.
As for the outcome, the draw does seem to be the most likable of three and is worth backing at 3.10 odds.
