The league’s best defense will take on the competition’s worst attack on Friday night as Shelbourne visit UCD Bowl for the small city derby in Gameweek 23 against the rock-bottomed UC Dublin on Friday night.
UC Dublin are by far the weakest team in the 2023 Premier Division. They have collected only 9 points in 22 games and sit as many as 13 points behind Cork City in the relegation playoffs spot at the moment.

They are now winless in three successive league fixtures but the schedule gets much easier in the upcoming weeks with the clashes against UCD and Cork City in the next two league rounds.
UC Dublin have scored no more than a single goal in the previous seven head to head affairs with Shelbourne. They boast the league’s worst attacking record by some distance while Shelbourne own the best defense in the competition.
