Possibly the most lopsided match we will have in the Eerste Divisie this weekend. While the Tukkers are in a desperate pursuit for the lone spot at the top that ensures direct promotion to the Eredivisie, Robin Pronk’s men are in the virtual relegation zone. (There will be no relegation from the Eerste Divisie this season).
The Pride of the East secured an easy win in their last trip on the road. They defeated Maastricht with two unanswered goals, that came in quick succession. Utrecht, on the other hand, suffered a loss with the same scoreline in their last away tie against Helmond Sport.
In the period from November 2017 until now, the reserve team of Utrecht has recorded just a single win on the road. That’s a record of 17 losses, four draws, and one win.
This will be an easy match to predict. The difference in statures could not be more apparent. While one team is right at the top of the table, the other one is at the opposite end of the spectrum. Just to get a proper understanding, the last match between the teams ended in an away win for the Reds with a 1-6 scoreline.
