Trabsonzpor are from the Turkish top flight, which hugely pales in comparison to the Italian Serie A – one of the best leagues in Europe, from where Roma come from. By all means, expect a win for the Italians this Thursday at the Medical Park.
They had managed a seventh-place finish in the tough Italian top flight, and succeeded in seeing off the competition by Sassuolo for the final European spot. Moreover, they are now managed by the legendary Jose Mourinho, and are determined for European glory.
With just one more round remaining to confirm a place in the Conference League, expect the team to deliver a great performance this Thursday.
In the meantime, Trabzonspor could secure just a fourth-place finish in the Super Lig, and they were winless in 21 of their total 40 matches through the campaign.
Moreover, they are in no way equipped to take on teams from the top-three leagues in the continent, and are surely the underdogs here. As such, expect a thorough win for Roma.
Mourinho’s men were unbeaten in ten of their past eleven overall fixtures, and they had scored three or more goals in three of their former six matches. Do also note that they have failed to score just once in their preceding 13 road trips.
On the other hand, their counterparts were winless in three of their former five overall games, and they had remained so in two of their last three appearances at home.
Taking these observations into account, and most importantly the difference in quality between the respective leagues, expect a satisfying win for Roma this Thursday.
