Toulouse vs Saint-Etienne

Toulouse’s draw against Angers at the weekend means that the club come into this game unbeaten in their last 5. They have 11 points and have started on a positive note even if they are perhaps drawing too many games.
The one worry for the team is that they are not scoring enough goals, whilst clubs around them have already hit double figures they have just 6 goals to their name so far, even Amiens in 18th place have scored more than them.
Saint Etienne could leapfrog past Toulouse with a win here. They got an impressive 2-1 win at home to Caen at the weekend which stopped a 4 game winless streak which saw 3 matches drawn. Like Toulouse they have a lack of goals and have only netted 5 times so far they are also making heavy weather of their results with most finishing in draws.
Away from home Saint Etienne have yet to win with two draws and their last away game ended in a 4-0 defeat at PSG.
This is set to be a close game and we like the choice to back the draw at half time. But ultimately we will go for the home win. Toulouse are a very hard team to beat and will be gaining most of their points at this stadium. At the same time Saint Etienne are no pushovers and so our main bet will be to see under 3 goals.
This game will be tactics driven and perhaps just the odd goal will end up separating the teams. As a small stake we will back a red card to be shown in the game as history tells us these fixtures can become quite heated.
