Swansea host Bristol City in one of three early fixtures of Saturday’s Championship schedule in Gameweek No 5.

Neither team will enter the tie on a high. The Swans are still struggling to adjust to life without Russell Martin who was signed by Southampton before this season.

The new head coach is Michael Duff who got off to a very slow start to the campaign, claiming just two points from the opening four fixtures in charge of the Swans.

The Welsh outfit have also experienced the League Cup elimination after a 2-3 defeat to Bournemouth in the second round of the competition on Tuesday evening.

Duff clearly has issues with the lack of meticulousness in his team’s defensive line as the Swans allowed two or more goals in three of the previous four matches in all competitions.

None of the last four games the Robins played across competitions provided three or more goals, a run that involves the 0-1 loss to Norwich City on Tuesday evening in the League Cup.
