Stockport County have been scoring and conceding loads of goals lately, while Bolton Wanderers do not have the best away record. The visitors are clear favorites but they lost four of the last five away outings in the League One. Backing goals at both ends is our main betting recommendation for this one.
Stockport County continued their FA Cup journey by holding Bolton Wanderers to a 2-2 draw in the first leg of the opening round, played nine days ago at the University of Bolton Stadium.
They have thus earned a chance host a League One opposition in the replay on Wednesday evening at Edgeley Park.
This clash will thus give us the last club to feature in the second round of the competition given that all other replays were played on Tuesday.
Bolton are pretty big favorites being two divisions above their counterparts. They, however, failed to show it on the pitch nine days ago.
Bolton will get a new chance to fix the impression in the reverse fixture of the road. The visitors will fancy their chances of scoring at least twice once again against Stockport County who have been anything but meticulous defensively of late.
The hosts have allowed two or more goals in four of the last five outings they played in all competitions.
Since each of their last five games saw goals scored at both ends, we would not be surprised to see Stockport County on target once again here.
