UEFA Europa League
Date: Thursday, 29th November 2018

Sevilla travels to Belgium to complete the fifth match-day of UEFA Europa League. The match takes place at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne, where St. Liege play hosts to the Spanish team.
St. Liege occupies the third spot in the table after posting six points from their four matches. They won two and lost two of their total four fixtures. Liege scored six goals in the process and conceded nine.
Sevilla has been on a rampage this season in the Europa League. They scored a total of 15 goals from their four matches alone. The next best in the group is just six goals. Sevilla occupies the second spot with nine points from their four games. They won three and lost one in this campaign.
Liege dismantled Eupen, at home, with a 3-0 scoreline in their last league fixture. M’Poku chipped in with a brace for the hosts. Eupen couldn’t do anything against the tactically superior Liege players.
Sevilla won their league fixture against Valladolid with a 1-0 scoreline. Silva scored the lone goal and the winner in the 30th minute. Though the visitors tried hard to find the equalizer, the home defense stood strong.
The Spanish team holds the favorites tag in this tie. They defeated Liege with a scoreline of 5-1 in the last head-to-head game. They have the obvious advantage of playing in La Liga, one of the best leagues in the world.
Sevilla is also considered the masters of Europa League, courtesy their three triumphs in a row in the competition.
Sevilla is unbeaten in their last seven matches in a row. Whereas Liege is winless in four of their last six games and has lost three of them.
Sevilla will want to top this group somehow and will be ruing their complacency against Krasnodar that pushed them to the second spot. They will try to make up for it, and quite possibly, Liege will be facing the brunt of Sevilla’s wrath.
