Spain and Costa Rica will wrap up the happenings for Day 2 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. They will lock horns in the first Group C game at Wellington Regional Stadium.
Spain are huge favorites to come on top on Friday, just as the odds suggest. They have a star-studded lineup led by two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas.

They have huge problems with the lack of attacking creativity and they will go into this off the back of six defeats in the last seven matches across competitions.
The run includes a 0-2 loss to South Africa in the team’s most recent pre-World Cup test played six days ago.
We expect Spain to confirm the massive gulf in quality between these two teams and we will back the southern Europeans to win by five or more goals difference at the 1.90 odds as the main betting option.
