Juventus rescued themselves at the death of the first leg of their UEFA Europa League semifinal tie with Sevilla thanks to substitute Federico Gatti who bagged the late equalizer in the seventh minute of added time at the Allianz Stadium.

The Spaniards certainly left the better impression last Thursday on Italian soil and they will fancy their chances of progressing to another Europa League final with a result in the return outing on the home patch.

Sevilla further boosted the spirits in the dressing room with a staggering second half display in the 0-3 drubbing of Real Valladolid at the weekend.

Los Rojiblancos notched three unanswered goals in the second half of the affair at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla on Sunday.

They broke into the top half of the La Liga standings thanks to a thread of five wins in the last six league outings.

Juventus are also faring well in their domestic league. An easy 2-0 victory over Cremonese on Sunday night saw them go eight points clear of fifth-placed AC Milan, meaning the top-four finish is all but wrapped up with just three games to play.
