RFC Seraing and Royal Antwerp will complete the happenings of Saturday’s First Division A action in the evening 29th round fixture at Stade du Pairay.
The visitors head into the clash in much higher spirits and as quite big favorites. They have just celebrated a demolishing 5-0 victory over an in-form Mechelen side last weekend.
A pair of Dutch attackers (offensive midfielder and winger) Jurgen Ekkelenkamp and Gyrano Kerk starred with a brace each on the occasion.
Kerk has been a great addition to this Antwerp team. He has four goals in six appearances and we fancy his chances of adding to such a fine tally on Saturday against Seraing.
The visitors firmly hold the third position in the First Division A standings and are now only two points behind second-placed Union Saint-Gilloise after a run of four wins and a draw in the last five games across competitions.
Seraing, on the other side, sit at the very foot of the First Division A ladder with a seven-point deficit to Eupen in the safe zone.
Seraing have been by far the worst home team in the league so far in the season, claiming no more than four points in 14 First Division A fixtures at Stade du Pairay.
Antwerp boast the best defensive record in the whole league with 24 goals allowed in 28 outings so far in the season. They have shipped just two goals in the previous eight matches across competitions, a run that includes the semifinal win in the cup against Union Saint-Gilloise as well as a 0-1 road win over sovereign leaders Genk in the league.
The away win to nil is the way to go at the 2.25 odds, while we also like the 2.20 odds offered for in-form Gyrano Kerk to score anytime for the visitors.
