Having confirmed their spot in the Libertadores playoffs this season, Sao Paulo will not have any worries while hosting Sporting Cristal in the clash on Wednesday. The host is four points away from the traveling side on the Group E table as it stands.
Despite having a bright start to the group fixtures this season, the Brazilian side is on a three-game winless run in the campaign. They will host after suffering a 0-1 loss at home against Racing Club in the previous Libertadores encounter. The home team has nothing to play for other than pride and a strong finish in the group this season.
In the meantime, Sporting Crystal will aim to confirm their Copa Sudamericana play-off in the group this term. They will visit on the back of a 2-0 win at home against the likes of Rentistas in the last tournament clash. The team behind the visitor is not likely to win their respective last clash. So, the away team will expect the playoff spot despite the result.
Sao Paulo enjoys the ground advantage and the upper hand on the table. They will not be too urgent in the game, but we can expect a ninety-minute high-scoring affair. Hence, the tip for over 2.5 goals will probably come in handy to yield decent returns.
Besides, the home win in full-time is the ideal choice in the fixture. However, the tip for Sao Paulo to win with a -1 handicap will probably be the best bet. Since the host won the reverse fixture against the guest with a three-goal margin, expect a better scoreline when they play at home.
