NSI Runavik vs Hibernian
Europa League First qualifying round
Date: Thursday, 19 July 2018
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK
Venue: Svangaskard (Toftir, Eysturoy).
Hibernian have bagged a thrashing 6-1 home win over NSI Runavik, which was all but narrow and unpredictable, and they travel to the Faroe Islands hoping for an easy task as they seal the deal. They’ve had more troubles and will be thankful for such a turn of events but it’s obvious Neil Lennon has more depth in quality and the Scottish rivals will want to prove that once again.
Hibs have impressed up front, primarily led by Florian Kamberi who netted three, and NSI could have their hands full at Svangaskard as well. This was their third win in four outings and we do feel Hibernian are confident as they look to go far in Europa League Qualifiers.
NSI have, on the other hand, struggled to cope in the first leg after a similar streak in Meistaradeildin in late June – and it does seem awful like it’s more of the same for them here. They have been scoring many goals in Toftir too and we don’t feel they’ll be sitting ducks despite a convincing loss and the untangled contest in the first leg.
We’ll now back Hibernian to win and a YES on Both teams to score once again, which comes at 2.88 and has attracted a lot of attention already. NSI will surely not be sitting ducks up front despite another one-sided clash looming and we do feel this is value at this point.
We also expect another high-scoring contest and we’ll also back Over 2.5 goals FT at 1.60, which could prove a very generous banker bet. NSI have nothing to lose and they’ll surely employ an attacking approach, which has a lot in store for Hibernian as well.
