Roma will start the new Serie A campaign with the home fixture against Salernitana on Sunday afternoon at Stadio Olimpico.

Salernitana have already played a competitive match last weekend, beating lower-division Ternana in the first round of Coppa Italia.

The newest acquisition, Antonio Candreva, made the difference via a first-half strike, proving to be a great asset for Paulo Sousa’s squad.

Sousa can be worried only because of one dismal display his men have shown earlier this month, conceding six goals in a demolishing defeat to Turkish Hatayspor (1-6).
