New York Red Bulls will be looking to bounce back from their hotly contested derby against New York City last week which they ended up losing 1-0.
The Red Bulls are in 3rd place on 32 points and are 8 points behind leaders Atlanta United in the Eastern conference but the good news is that they have 3 games in hand to play.
Form before that derby loss was very good where they had gone 4 games unbeaten including winning 3 games in a row. From 8 games played at home the Red Bulls have won 6, drawn 1 and lost 1.
Sporting Kansas City come here after experiencing a poor run which has seen the club without a win for their last 3 games. Back to back losses against Montreal Impact and Real Salt Lake where they conceded 6 goals in those games and a draw against Toronto has damaged their league campaign in the Western conference.
However the team are still in 3rd place and just two points from the top. But their away form has not been good and they have no wins on the road in the last 4 games.
This should be a very close game and our main bet will be to see the Red Bulls get all three points. Sporting have been quite poor on the road and have low confidence at the moment.
For smaller stakes we will opt to see under 2.5 goals also as history between these clubs says there is a great chance of this, and the Red Bulls have built a solid defence.
