Real Madrid host Cadiz in the last game of Matchday No 14 in Spanish La Liga on Thursday evening at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Los Blancos will try and rebound after the disappointing 1-1 draw to Girona in the previous league game in front of the home fans.
The draw to Girona allowed Barcelona to get back in contention for the very top of the standings as Carlo Ancelotti’s men do not have much room for mistakes.
Los Blancos have already slipped up twice on the home patch this season. However, they are still a formidable force in Spanish football and they will be enormous favorites to ease past Cadiz on Thursday.
The visitors hold the penultimate 19th position in the league table going into this tie at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
However, we must say that Cadiz have just recently managed a huge upset by beating Atletico Madrid 3-2 on the home patch eleven days ago (only their second victory of the season).
Despite notching three goals past Real Madrid’s city counterparts, Cadiz still own the league’s worst attacking record with no more than 8 goals scored in the inaugural 13 rounds.
Real Madrid allowed 10 goals in the maiden 12 games of the season and we fancy the hosts’ chances of keeping things quiet at the back on Thursday.
Real Madrid did not keep a clean sheet in four consecutive outings in all competitions but we fancy them to do so here as they are set to play host to the league’s weakest attacking line.
You can back Real Madrid to win to nil at the 1.72 odds, while we also like the hosts to win the first half by at least two goals difference at the 2.75 odds.
