RB Leipzig desperately needed international break to regroup and bounce back from a pair of devastating results last month.
Marco Rose’s men suffered a disastrous 7-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City in the return leg of the UEFA Champions League R16 tie at Etihad Stadium on March 14th.
They then fell 1-0 away at relegation-threatened Bochum four days later to put their domestic league ambitions in jeopardize as well.
RB Leipzig are now fifth in the Bundesliga table and they need to shift their fortunes around sooner rather than later if they want to secure another campaign in the elite continental competition next season.
