PSV Eindhoven dropped two points in an incredible fashion last Sunday when they conceded a 95th-minute equalizer away at Feyenoord in the derby of the round.
It was a great football affair between two of the main title candidates in Rotterdam but Feyenoord managed to annul the two-goal deficit and claw their way to a 2-2 stalemate at the end.
The gap between these two teams is still four points as PSV Eindhoven will continue the pursuit on Saturday afternoon when they host FC Groningen at Philips Stadion.
This should be as one-sided affair as possible based on everything we have seen from these two teams so far in the season.
PSV Eindhoven have a great home record of eight wins, one draw, and just one defeat in ten league fixtures at Philips Stadion.
FC Groningen, on the other side, lost seven of ten away fixtures this term, conceding 21 goals in the process.
FC Groningen have not been pulling up any trees since the World Cup break, losing six and drawing one of the last seven matches in all competitions.
On a positive side for their fans, the lone draw came last weekend and it was against the likes of Twente. It was by far the best performance we have seen from FC Groningen under Dennis van der Ree.
PSV will be hoping to finish the job as soon as possible and thus avoid any drama in a match they simply have to win to stay in the title race.
