The reigning French champions have seen a lot of changes in their squad post the 2022-23 Ligue 1 season. Amidst of new signings, the club saw Lionel Messi leaving. On top of that Kylian Mbappe made it clear that he will not be signing a new contract in the club.
Despite of these fusses, the team managed to seal a victory over Le Havre in a friendly match. Ekitike and Mbappe scored goals fro PSG in that match. They will be facing Al-Nassr in a friendly match on coming Tuesday.
Going on, Al-Nassr is not having an impressive friendly display at the moment. The team lost the past two friendly matches against Benfica and Celta Vigo. Such a display will stand favorable for the French side which owns a very strong squad.
This will be marked as the first head to head meetings between PSG and Al-Nassr.
PSG will be heavy favorites to win this match considering their stats and quality difference. Ligue 1’s competitive display is far better than the Saudi’s. On top of that Al-Nassr lost against teams like Celta Vigo and Benfica leaking goals in a worrying fashion of late.
Moreover, PSG have played a match against Riyad XI earlier this year which had the best players of Saudi Pro League and the match ended in a 5-4 win for PSG. We don’t have a reason to back Al-Nassr here and thus, we pick PSG to win here.
Al-Nassr allowed over 3.5 goals in the last two friendlies consecutively. PSG’s attacking side is better than Al-Nassr’s last two friendly opponents and we can expect over 3.5 goals in this match.
The offensive inconsistency of Al-Nassr makes it a tough call for us. They have failed to score against Celta Vigo and scored one against Benfica. Even in their league away matches, the team looks to have an average attacking side. Therefore, we are not picking up an option here.
PSG will end up bagging a positive outcome which boosts their spirits to start the fresh Ligue 1 season on August. Al-Nassr doesn’t display anything competitive and we expect them to concede their third friendly defeat in a row.
