Sheffield United ended their horrendous winless thread with a 3-1 road win over Luton last weekend. The victory gave them a glimmer of hope although Chris Wilder and his men still have a mountain to climb to preserve the top-flight status. The Blades are still at the very foot of the Premier League standings with seven points between them and the safe zone.

Sheffield United will try and make it back-to-back wins on Sunday afternoon. They host mid-able Brighton in Matchday No 25 at Bramall Lane. The visitors enter the tie as pretty big favourites based on everything we’ve seen from Sheffield United so far in the season.

Brighton suffered consecutive road defeats. However, they left a much better impression last weekend, falling narrowly to a last-gasp Brennan Johnson goal away at Spurs (1-2). The Seagulls has earlier been unbeaten in four straight away outings in all competitions. The run included a 5-2 demolition of Sheffield United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Brighton play attacking-minded football under Roberto De Zerbi. They have scored at least four goals in two of the last four matches across competitions. The away win has to be the main betting option at the 1.61 odds.
