Both Roma and Lazio have been on upside trajectories lately. The Romans have suffered just one league loss since Daniele De Rossi took over Jose Mourinho in mid-January. We’ve witnessed several cagey affairs without too many happenings on the pitch in recent Derby della Capitale editions. None of the previous four Roman derbies provided even two or more goals.

The teams’ latest performances point towards a similar outcome this time around. We saw only two goals in total in Roma’s last three outings in all competitions. Lazio completely shut down Juventus on Igor Tudor’s managerial debut. Their back line looked as solid as ever on the occasion. The Under 2.5 goals bet is our primary option at the 1.70 odds.
