Brighton and Arsenal will round off an exciting Premier League Saturday with a late afternoon Matchday No 32 clash at The Amex. The Gunners are still in the title race after holding Manchester City to a goalless draw in the last weekend’s derby at Etihad Stadium. They will need to dig deep to claim the full spoils here against Brighton who have lost just one home match since the beginning of the season.

Brighton may have gone through a rough campaign in this term of the Premier League but they are still a force at The Amex. The Seagulls are unbeaten in front of the home fans in 14 straight affairs across competitions. Poor away performances keep them at the 9th position in the league table, though.

Arsenal ended their eight-win streak with a goalless draw last weekend in Manchester. They are now two points shy of Liverpool at the top of the standings. Mikel Arteta’s men can ill afford dropping more points in the remaining eight matches of the season. Can they get the job done at The Amex?

In theory, Brighton might give Arsenal a game here. After all, they’ve lost just 1 of 14 league games on the home patch in this term of the Premier League. The reality is somewhat different, though.

Arsenal have been almost impeccable since the short winter break in January. The fact they won eight and drew one of the last nine league games speaks enough. Their players are as motivated as ever, being still in contention for the Premier League glory.

On the other side, Brighton lost four of the previous six matches across competitions. It is very hard to bet on anything other than Arsenal’s win here. The pick is paid at the 1.61 odds.

We will alternatively shoot for the Under 2.5 goals bet at the very attractive 2.37 odds. The main reason is both teams’ recent playing style. We’ve seen a total of one goal in Arsenal’s last two matches against Porto (a 1-0 win in extra-time) and Manchester City (a goalless stalemate).
