Portsmouth vs Wigan

Leading the League One table, Wigan is set to extend their point-lead as as they travel to Fratton Park this Tuesday to meet Portsmouth who are on a 4-game unbeaten run.
The Latics are at top flight in League One with 89 points from 22 games. They won 26 times in the league while drawing on 11 and losing only 7 times. They are however only lead by 3 points from Rotherham and MK Dons. The visitors even though having a remarkable attacking front, they couldn’t win the last 4 games in the league.
Wigan continues to struggle at the tail end of the season as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Plymouth Argyle last time out. The visitors have failed to win any of their last 4 outings, claiming just three points from a possible 12. They are also now in danger of failing to win the league title as they have been struggling recently.
On the other hand, Portsmouth resides at the 9th position on the table with 70 points. Of the 44 matches played, they won 19 games while drawing on 13 and losing on a dozen other occasions. They have failed to mount a promotion challenge of their own although they improved their form since the last couple of games.
Portsmouth returned to winning ways as they threw off Gillingham by 3-1 at their home turf, the previous Saturday. Even though they have been offensively good, the home team may lack the means to get a victory with just 2 games left in hand that have no major impact on the league position.
Portsmouth are undefeated in their last 9 home league matches while winning the last 3 in a row. All these shows that they have been pretty tough to bet at home.
Meanwhile, Wigan remain unbeaten in their last 7 away league fixtures. But they have gone through a substandard set of results over the last few matches. They also drew their last 2 away games as a result of that.
We therefore feel that a Draw No Bet for Portsmouth is the best option here.
