Orlando City were lucky to collect all three points from the season opener against New York Red Bulls last weekend.
They have managed only a single attempt on target in the 90 minutes of play at Exploria Stadium and it came only through the penalty-kick.
The team’s main star Facundo Torres made no mistake form the spot to give Orlando City a precious three-pointer at the beginning of the 2023 campaign.
Oscar Pareja will hope to see more from his creative force in Matchday No 2 as Orlando City play host to attacking-minded FC Cincinnati on Saturday evening at Exploria Stadium.
FC Cincinnati will also come into the match on the back of a victory as they dispatched Houston Dynamo 2-1 in a wild thriller with plenty of opportunities at both ends at TQL Stadium.
American manager Pat Noonan has an excellent firepower on display in the final third with the likes of Brandon Vazquez, Yuya Kubo, Sergio Santos, Brenner, Obinna Nowobodo, and Luciano Acosta.
Nevertheless, Cincy do leave plenty of room at the back despite changing the defensive lineup almost entirely this winter.
This match has goals in it. FC Cincinnati have been struggling to keep things tight defensively last year and they do not seem to have fixed the defensive holes at the beginning of the new season either. With the attacking firepower both outfits have on disposal, we can just hardly imagine a low-scoring scenario on Saturday at Exploria Stadium.
