Serbia had an unimpressive run in the Qatar World Cup. The team got knocked out in the group stages. They were one of the few teams to face knockouts without winning a game.
However, they will have some spirits to face the hosting side Montenegro on Monday. The hosts have not advanced into the World Cup. They were seen a couple of friendlies and some Nations League fixtures lately. The team failed to win most of those and are currently on a four-match winless streak.
They have met just twice in the past. Serbia won both the fixtures scoring two goals apiece.
Their most recent head to head meeting was during the 2018 Nations League season, and Serbia won the match 2-1.
Montenegro is not having a decent run even at their safest turf. The team follows a three-match winless streak at the moment.

Moreover, Serbia have won all the clashes against Montenegro and we expect a win for them on Monday.
Three of the last four road trips of Serbia were high-scoring affairs. This includes a 3-3 WC group stage draw against Cameroon. Such a goal trend of Serbia forces us to consider an over 2.5 goal display here.
We are quite not sure about the possibility of a both teams to score display here. The main reason for that is the goal numbers of Montenegro at home which looks pretty inconsistent.
Serbia have been delivering decent displays on the road for the past several moths. They were unbeaten in 13 of the last 15 road trips and such a form is more than enough to back them here.
We therefore like to place Serbia to win as the main betting tip at 1.85 odds. For the second tip, we like to place the over 2.5 bet at 2.10 odds.
