Manchester United certainly have a lot of expectations to live up to this season and will be hoping for a positive run in the Champions Cup which begins this weekend.
The squad performed well in their warm-up matches building up to the clash. Daniel James and Aaron Bissaka, the two new signings for the club, featured in their last two games and seem to have fit into the squad well enough.
However, that alone is not going to cut it against their opponents who are one of the best sides in Italy. Antonio Conte’s men finished fourth in the league last season and got off to a positive start in their preseason friendly as well.
We can certainly count on an exciting ninety minutes to unfold, with the Red Devils sizing up as the favorites to take the win.
Despite finishing their league campaign on a low, odds are than Ole’s men are more than likely to taste success when they square up against the side from Italy.
The Milan squad have not been at their best in finding the back of the net and have been heavily linked to quite a few forwards, including United’s Romelu Lukaku.
United, on the other hand, have a perfectly sound attacking line up that can threaten to go on a goal-scoring spree on their day.
The squad certainly showed potential in their preseason friendlies and so you can bet on them to have the cutting edge over their foes.
It’s too soon to rule out the chances of a high scoring one, so expect both teams to get their names on the scoresheet in this one.
