A real buzz is expected in and around Old Trafford on Thursday evening when Manchester United host Barcelona in another clash of the titans.

The two European heavyweights will lock horns in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League knockout stage playoffs tie, following a spectacular 2-2 stalemate in the first game played seven days ago at Spotify Camp Nou.

Both outfits were successful in their respective domestic games on Sunday. Manchester United survived some early scares against Leicester to beat them comfortably 3-0 at the end on Sunday afternoon.

Marcus Rashford produced another amazing display, scoring two goals to continue his spectacular form since the World Cup break.

Knowing how much space Manchester United’s players had in the first leg at Camp Nou, we can only expect Rashford to continue his extraordinary spell of form and find the back of the net once again on Thursday.

The Red Devils are now only three points shy of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table and they could easily join the battle for the league trophy in the final part of the season.

Barcelona, on the other side, maintained an eight-point advantage on Real Madrid by clinching a 2-0 victory over Cadiz on Sunday night.

Sergi Roberto and Robert Lewandowski were on target in what was yet another shaky display from Xavi’s defensive line. We have seen Cadiz missing some interesting chances four days ago at Camp Nou.
