Manchester City survived a late Sheffield United scare on Sunday to maintain the perfect record at the start of the 2023/24 Premier League campaign thanks to an 88th-minute Rodri winner.

The Citizens have a chance to prolong the winning streak at the start of the season on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Fulham in Matchday No 4 at Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s troops are big favorites going into this tie despite the fact that Fulham have just shockingly kept Arsenal to a 2-2 stalemate at Emirates Stadium last weekend.

The Cottagers have even done so by scoring the late equalizer with ten men on the pitch following Calvin Bassey’s red card.

Fulham have already shown several opposite faces in the opening three games of the season. They claimed three points from Goodison Park despite being an inferior side on the pitch against Everton before suffering a tough 0-3 home defeat at the hands of Brentford.

Pep can’t count on Kevin De Bruyne (a long-term injury) but Phil Foden should return to the starting lineup after coming on just for three last minutes last weekend at Bramall Lane through illness.
