Venue: Seoul World Cup Stadium (Seoul).
Manchester City head to South Korea for their final exhibition on the Asian Tour on Sunday when they take on La Liga side Atletico Madrid at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
The Treble winners are perfect this summer with two wins in two games, scoring seven goals in total past Yokohama F. Marinos and Bayern Munich.
While the defensive line looked shaky in the first preseason game against the Japanese outfit, the Citizens looked much more solid at the back against German heavyweights Bayern Munich, allowing only one goal in a 2-1 victory.
The English and European champions are pretty big favorites on Sunday against Atletico Madrid who disappointed their fans with a 2-3 defeat to K-League Stars three days ago.
Los Colchoneros allowed two late goals to lose the match on the occasion but it is worth noting that they are still in the early phase of the preparations period unlike City who do have a competitive game as early as August 6th in the Community Shield against Premier League runners-up Arsenal.
The match against Pep Guardiola’s machinery thus comes at a tricky moment for the Spaniards whose defense will be under huge pressure against one of the deadliest attacking lines on the planet.
This is Man City’s final preseason check and we expect a very serious approach from Pep Guardiola’s squad on Sunday. Their players should be in a better physical condition than Atletico’s and we see the value in backing the Citizens to have the lead at the half time and win the game at the end at the 2.25 odds.
The value is also great with the Over 2.5 goals FT bet at the 1.61 odds knowing how leaky Atletico Madrid’s back line was three days ago against the K-League Stars.
