Mallorca and Villarreal will raise the curtain on the happenings in Matchday No 2 of the 2023/24 La Liga campaign.

Vedat Muriqi missed a penalty in that game which could affect his confidence ahead of this tie. The striker from Kosovo bagged 15 goals last season for Mallorca and he will face hard times to match such a record without his partner Kang-In Lee who moved to PSG this summer.
