Despite some issues with their form in the initial stages of the La Liga, former champions Atletico Madrid have climbed to the third spot in the table. This Wednesday they will be eager to take on the struggling Mallorca, as they possibly view it as three easy points. 

Mallorca have just three wins to their name so far in the competition, and they have a surplus of only two points over the relegation cut-off. Also, only one of their total three wins came in the past five match-days. 

Going on, only two teams scored fewer goals than them at home in the entire tournament, and they have a single victory to their credit at this ground – which came against Almeria. 

Meanwhile, Atleti as usual have been the best team in the Spanish top flight, after the two titans. They are placed third in the table at the moment, and it is important to be noted that they have a 100% winning record away from home – barring just two fixtures.

Moreover, Diego Simeone’s men have a superb h2h record against this rival over the years, and judging all these observations – expect a win for Atletico Madrid this Wednesday.

Do also note that two of their past three league match-ups away from home ended in wins against Betis and Bilbao. 

By the looks of things, expect a win for Atletico Madrid.
