All Analysis and Tips for Second Leg Europa League fixtures compiled by Aron Wright. Below, you may find the preview for first leg of the corresponding tie.
Ludogorets shockingly fell to Hungarian Mol Vidi in the second qualifying round of Champions League, failing to find the back of the net at all over two legs there.
Such result was even more shocking knowing they’ve previous bagged as many as nine goals in two legs with Northern Irish Crusaders.
It will, however, count for little as Bulgarian champions can only continue their European adventure in Europa League.
The team standing between them and the play-offs is Zrinjski Mostar.
The Bosnian champions should really not cause troubles for the Bulgarians here given the massive gulf in quality between the two sides.
Zrinjski also began their campaign in the Champions League where they lost to Spartak Trnava 1-2 on aggregate.
They then featured the second qualifying round in Europa League, somehow finding the way to see off Maltese Valletta 3-2 on aggregate even though they only drew the first leg 1-1 at home.
Anything but a comprehensive victory for Paulo Autuori’s side would be a massive upset here.
The Brazilian manager has a strong range of attacking weapons in his ranks and we can hardly see Zrinjski Mostar defending it in the way Mol Vidi did in the Champions League.
Jakub Swierczok bagged four goals in two games with Crusaders and he will be the one to look after here.
Obviously, players like Marcelinho, Claudiu Keseru and Joao Paulo should all have plenty of space to deliver past Zrinjski who conceded a goal in all of for European games so far in the season.
The two sides did not play each other in the past.
