Both Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans have strong and well-balanced teams. However, Gujarat Titans have been performing better in the league so far, winning four out of their five matches and climbing to the top of the points table.
Lucknow Super Giants did win their last match, but it wasn’t as convincing. Despite scoring a massive 238 runs against a struggling KKR side, they nearly lost the game. Their main strength is their batting, led by Orange Cap holder Nicholas Pooran, who scored an unbeaten 87 in the last match.
The Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans have faced off five times in the IPL since GT’s debut in 2022. Gujarat Titans have dominated this rivalry, winning four of those five encounters, establishing themselves as the superior side in their head-to-head history.
When it comes to clashes at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, the two sides have met twice, with both emerging victorious once.

Sai Kishore (GT): Sai Kishore has been a valuable player for Gujarat Titans. He is their leading wicket-taker with 10 wickets in just five matches. In his latest game, he took 2 wickets for 20 runs in 2.2 overs against Rajasthan Royals.
Mohammed Siraj (GT): Siraj has also been one of GT’s top bowlers this season. He has picked up 10 wickets in five matches. In his most recent match against Rajasthan Royals, he bowled four overs and gave away 30 runs while taking one wicket.
Two in-form teams will face off on Saturday at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, LSG’s home ground. Their last meeting here ended in a win for LSG, but beating this season’s top team, GT, won’t be easy.
With Nicholas Pooran in top form for LSG and Sai Sudharsan shining for GT, this could be one of the most exciting batting duels of the season. Pooran has scored under 40 in just two matches, and with Mitchell Marsh supporting him, we’re backing LSG to produce the top batter.
Sai Sudharsan has been consistent, scoring 49 or more in all but one game this season, including three fifties. Backing him to score over 27.5 runs looks like a strong bet.
LSG have hit 9 or more sixes in three out of five matches this season. Pooran alone smashed 8 sixes in his last game against KKR, highlighting LSG’s power-hitting ability.
