Lille and Guingamp will go head to head on Sunday afternoon as both seek better starts from their Ligue 1 campaign.
For Lille they have had a good start after convincingly beating Rennes at this stadium in the opening game of the season by 3-1. They followed this win up with another decent result in drawing 0-0 away to Monaco. Lille will feel very happy about their play so far.
Guingamp though are seeking their first win of the season and their first points as they lost both games so far. They went down against St Etienne away from home when they lost 2-1. The following week they were at home but fared no better as they were defeated by PSG 3-1. Guingamp actually took the lead in that game but the impact of both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe made the game far from beyond their reach.
These are the facts that we will place on the table. Lille have had a better start to the league than Guingamp. They are scoring goals and look tighter and compact in defence. Monaco for example could not score against them. Guingamp have lost two games already although the PSG game was expected. But they also do not travel well to this ground and Lille can make this very difficult for them.
