Steffen Schmidt - February 22, 2023
Leicester vs Arsenal
English Premier League
Date: 25 February 2023, Saturday
Kick-off at 15:00 UK / 16:00 CET
Venue: King Power Stadium (Leicester).
Arsenal somehow found a way to survive a very tough trip to Villa Park last Saturday when they managed a big second-half comeback to celebrate a 2-4 victory over Aston Villa in Birmingham.
The Gunners eventually had luck as the ball hit Emiliano Martinez’s back to end up in the net after landing on the crossbar from Jorginho’s strike.
Nonetheless, we have to praise Mikel Arteta and his men for their resilience in what was a very tough game against an inspiring opposition, just three days after an unpleasant defeat in the season derby against Manchester City at Emirates Stadium.
To make things even better for Arsenal, the Citizens slipped up at The City Ground, playing only a 1-1 stalemate against the likes of Nottingham Forest last weekend.
The Gunners are now two points clear of Man City at the top of the standings and they will be looking to back up the last weekend’s win with a result in yet another difficult road clash against Leicester on Saturday afternoon at King Power Stadium.
The Foxes terminated a run of three successive wins across competitions with a tough 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United six days ago at Old Trafford.
However, Brendan Rodgers’ men have still bagged four goals in two of the previous three Premier League games and their in-form offensive line may well cause problems to the Gunners’ defense on Saturday.
This match definitely has goals in it. Leicester bagged four goals in two of the last three league games, while Arsenal will go into this on the back of a 2-4 win at Villa Park.
The Over 2.5 goals FT & Both Teams To Score is our main betting option here at the 2.05 odds, while we will also chase the value of the 5.50 odds offered for in-form James Maddison to score anytime for the hosts.
