Leeds and Liverpool will close Matchday No 31 in a super-exciting clash on Monday night at Elland Road.

Both teams have been very easy to break down of late which is why we expect a goal fest when they come across each other.

Leeds got an early lead in the last weekend’s home match against Crystal Palace but have gone to concede five goals since in what ended as one of their toughest defeats of the season.

The Peacocks have now shipped four or more goals twice in the last three Premier League rounds. They allowed at least two goals in four of the previous five league affairs.

This will be the music to the ears of Mohamed Salah and company as Liverpool will be highly motivated to return to winning ways after a streak of five straight outings without a win across competitions.

The Reds allowed four goals to Manchester City and two goals to Arsenal in recent league affairs. Leeds do have enough weapons to hurt them, especially now with the return of Patrick Bamford who was on target in the last weekend’s catastrophe against the Glaziers.

Liverpool are currently eighth in the Premier League standings. The top-four finish looks like a mission impossible for Jurgen Klopp and his men from this perspective given there are as many as twelve points between them and the likes of Newcastle and Manchester United at the moment.

Leeds vs Liverpool Head-to-head

Leeds shocked Liverpool with a 1-2 victory in late-October last year at Anfield.
The Reds have easily won the last season’s two clashes against the Peacocks with the goal difference of 9-0 in the process.
We’ve seen at least three goals in four of the last five head to head matches between the two rivals.
