Bookmakers, fans, and especially AS Roma have underestimated SS Lazio ahead of the Derby della Capitale last weekend.

The Sky Blues provided magnificent performance and took an easy 3-0 victory against fierce city rivals, which was third in a row in Serie A. After improving their divisional standings, Lazio will focus on Coppa Italia this Thursday when they welcome Parma in Rome.

Anything but a home win would be a big surprise really considering the current state of visitors.

Sunday’s clash at home against Sampdoria has huge importance for the Crusaders, as potential victory could get them out of the relegation zone. They have the worst offensive stats in the league, scoring only 14 goals in 18 games. Record on the road is one win, three draws and five defeats.

After getting defeated by Udinese, Atalanta, AC Milan and Hellas Verona, Lazio have probably said goodbye to their title hopes. The Sky Blues are currently 7th in Serie A with 31 points, twelve behind Rossoneri.
