Two teams already out of the playoff race will face off on Sunday. Kolkata Knight Riders will have a slight edge as they enjoy home advantage at Eden Gardens.
Both teams have won two of their last three completed matches, with rain affecting some recent games. KKR was on a two-game winning run before they suffered a defeat to CSK in their last match. Looking at both sides’ current form, a close and competitive match is expected on Sunday.
The rivalry between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad has been a consistent fixture in the Indian Premier League. As of 2025, these two sides have clashed 29 times, with KKR leading the head-to-head with 20 wins, while SRH has managed 9 victories.
