Huesca, easily the worst (for want of another word) team in the league, hosts Levante, a team with European ambitions, at the Alcoraz, to complete their 13th schedule in LaLiga fixtures.
Levante will be furious with themselves after letting go of a lead in the 73rd minute against Real Sociedad, and conceding two more in the dying minutes, making a mockery of the home advantage they had in hand. The hosts scored in the 4th minute itself, and home fans were dreaming of an easy three points. But Real had other plans.
Starting from the 73rd minute, they scored three unanswered goals to take final scoreline to 1-3.
Huesca didn’t really have a prayer when they were facing Alaves on the road, but they had the opportunity to score the first goal and take the lead. They might be disappointed a bit that they let two goals past their defense after that, but against the mighty Alaves, it was kind of expected, and Huesca fans won’t be losing sleep over that.
The visitors come off as the favorites in this tie. They have plans to go for the European spots at the end of the season, and as of now, they are just three points away from qualification to Europa League.
Against Huesca, they have a good opportunity to record an easy win, and also improve their goal difference. Levante will not waste this chance to get to the top tier of the league standings.
Huesca has disappointed their fans both at home as well as on the road. They are winless in their last 11 games and haven’t tasted a victory in their last five attempts at home.
