Huddersfield vs Derby
England – Championship
Date: Wednesday, 2 February 2022
Kick-off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Kirklees Stadium.
Derby are trying their best to not let the 21-point deduction affect their fate. But it really knocked the life out of their players. They are struggling to show any kind of consistency, and they have been a mess on the road right from the start of the campaign.
They did have a brief period where they produced some good results, but it soon died off.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield are on a long unbeaten streak, and are easily one of the most consistent squads in the entire Championship.
They are scoring goals at a great rate, and they have been one of the best teams at home for the past several months.
And to top this all off, they also have a superb h2h record against this opponent over the years at this venue.
By the looks of things, expect a win for Huddersfield this Wednesday.
Huddersfield were held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke the last match-day. They are also on a ten-game unbeaten streak, and they had won five of their past eight fixtures.
Going on, they were unbeaten in nine of their past ten appearances at home, and the last they failed to find the back of the net at home was in October.
On the other hand, Derby were held to a 2-2 draw the past game week, by Birmingham. They were also winless in four of their past five fixtures, and they have won just once on the road since August.
Considering these observations, and past h2h stats at this ground, expect a win for Huddersfield this Wednesday.
