Moreover, Derby has had the upper hand in recent h2h meetings. They registered five of the last six wins and scored twice or more in five of the last seven. They repeated the feat in two of the last three clashes at this venue too. Importantly, they will be desperate to get back on the pitch and prove their worth, after missing out on promotion by a whisker. As such, count on them to avoid the loss at the least.

Coming to goals, the home advantage of Huddersfield and the fact that they are experienced in taking on much more qualified opposition should play a role in the game. Also, six of the last eight meetings between these teams had goals from both sides. Finally, only twice have encounters at this venue failed to return the same stat.
