Heerenveen vs PEC Zwolle
Netherlands – Eredivisie
Date: Saturday, 9th February 2019
Kick-off at 17.30 UK/ 18.30 CET
Venue: Abe LenstraStadion (Heerenveen).
Bluefingers are trying to maintain their consistent form in the league, as they won last 3 matches on the trot. PEC Zwolle plays professional football and uses the full width of the field to gain control of the game. Their defensive line has helped them win some of their matches throughout this season.
The away side is one of the worst attacking units in this league, as Jaap Stam’s forward line is on a dismal run of form. Finishing in front of the goal has been their problem, scoring 1.3 goals per games.
The Super Frisian’s season has derailed a bit in the last couple of matches, as they recorded no wins in the last six matches. They are very open at the back and leak goals, as they conceded 2.35 goals per game. Fean is very good in the attacking third and scored plenty of goals. Michel Vlap has contributed to their success, as he scored 9 goals this season.
Bluefingers will be confident enough to get a point out of this match, as they are stronger of the two. But the away form has been a worry for the team from Zwolle, as they won a single match from the last 5. From my point of view, this is gone be a stalemate with fewer goals.
Michel Vlap has been acting as the fulcrum of this team. He has scored late goals to save his team from the hands of defeat. If this trend continues, he will once again mark his name on the score sheet.
