Hamrun vs Ferencvaros

Ferencvaros have put six unanswered goals past Irish champions Shamrock Rovers over two legs in the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.
They will be massive favorites to advance from the third qualifying round matchup against Maltese champions Hamrun Spartans as well. The first leg is scheduled for Thursday evening at Ta’Qali National Stadium.
After an inaugural shock against KI Klaksvik at the start of their UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign, Ferencvaros seem to have found the right form and are currently on the best way to at least make it to the group stage of the Conference League.
The team led by Csaba Mate will go into this tie on the back of three straight wins and eleven goals scored in the process.
Five of these came on Sunday when Ferencvaros successfully began their NB I title defense quest, beating MOL Fehervar 3-5 on the road.
Hamrun Spartans, on the other side, were completely powerless in the Champions League matchup against Maccabi Haifa, losing 1-6 on aggregate with home and away losses.
However, they managed to bounce back via two separate wins over Georgian champions Dinamo Tbilisi.
The team led by Italian manager Luciano Zauri have done particularly well in defense in the return leg on Georgian soil, keeping their net untouched despite numerous attempts from their counterparts on the occasion.
Hamrun are now up against a much tougher rival, though, and they need to pull off a genuine miracle to survive it. Can they at least make things interesting by getting a result in the first leg on home soil?
Ferencvaros have a respectable lineup led by the likes of Adama Traore and Samy Mmae. They have topped their Europa League group ahead of the likes of Monaco, Red Star Belgrade, and Trabzonspor last year and they are massive favorites in this double-header against Maltese rivals.
We see the value in backing the Over 2.5 goals FT pick at the 1.80 odds while Ferencvaros are also worth backing to have the lead at the half time and win the game at the end at the 2.40 odds.
