Haka vs Inter Turku

Inter Turku provided one of the worst performances of the season last weekend when they fell 3-0 at VPS.
They will be looking to rebound immediately this Saturday in another away clash against bottom half opposition, Haka Valkeakoski.
Haka are not pulling up any trees this year. They are winless in eight subsequent league matches and they have only managed to pick up two wins since the beginning of the 2023 Veikkausliiga campaign.
Nevertheless, Teemu Tainio’s men are still two points clear off the rock-bottomed VPS thanks to the fact they are still unbeaten at home this season.
Haka drew in five of six league fixtures in their own backyard this term. They did not shine at all last weekend, though, conceding three early goals within the opening 25 minutes of the game in a difficult defeat to fourth-placed Oulu on the road.
Haka notched no more than two goals in the last six league affairs and they own the worst defensive record in the competition by some distance with 25 goals allowed in 14 outings.
Inter Turku are still 6th in the league standings despite the last weekend’s loss but they have at least two games in hand on most of the rivals in the division (three or four even on some).
This is a very tough game to call. Inter Turku possess more quality in their ranks but they have still managed just one win in six away outings this season.
This is why we see the Under 2.5 goals FT as the best betting option at the 1.85 odds, especially since neither team will enter this tie in high spirits. Alternatively, we will chase the 3.25 odds offered for Inter Turku to keep a clean sheet knowing Haka bagged only two goals in the last six league affairs.
