Sanju Samson’s return as RR captain gave the team a much-needed boost. They pulled off a big 50-run win against an in-form Punjab Kings side and moved up to 7th place in the standings.
On Wednesday, RR will travel to the Narendra Modi Stadium to face Gujarat Titans. The Titans have won three of their first four IPL matches and are currently on a three-game winning streak. Their latest win was a comfortable 7-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals have faced each other six times in the IPL so far, with Gujarat clearly dominating the rivalry. Out of these six encounters, Gujarat Titans have won five, while Rajasthan Royals have managed just one victory.
A key venue in this clash has been the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the Titans have made full use of home advantage. They have won both games played at the venue against the Royals, showcasing their strength in front of their home crowd.
Since Gujarat’s IPL debut in 2022, they have been the superior side in this head-to-head, consistently outplaying Rajasthan in both league and playoff matches. The most notable encounter came in the IPL 2022 final, where Gujarat clinched the title by defeating Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Royals will face a tough challenge on Wednesday as they travel to take on Gujarat Titans, who are currently on the best winning run of the season. GT have also won five out of six matches against RR, making this a thrilling contest to watch.
