Gujarat Titans has turned unimpressive towards the end of the regular season and finished it with two back-to-back defeats, allowing Punjab and Bangalore to climb into the top of the table. They will meet Mumbai Indians in the eliminator and Mumbai also have an inconsistent form as they conceded two defeats in the last three, out of which one is against the GT side.
The rivalry between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League has produced some interesting results. Both teams have faced each other seven times, with Gujarat securing five wins while Mumbai has won twice.
At Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, GT has shown dominance, winning all three encounters against MI. Notably, they defeated Mumbai by 6 runs in their home meeting this season.
Overall, MI has struggled at this venue, securing just one win in five matches. These stats suggest that while both teams are competitive, GT holds a clear edge in head-to-head meetings, especially at home.

Gujarat’s recent losing streak might give Mumbai a confidence boost. However, GT’s strong batting line-up continues to be a serious threat. Despite Mumbai’s loss to PBKS due to poor bowling, the upcoming match at Ahmedabad promises to be a thrilling contest.
