Gujarat’s four-match winning streak came to an end as Lucknow Super Giants beat them by six wickets, with three balls remaining. However, Gujarat’s Sai Sudharsan stood out once again, scoring 56 runs off just 37 balls.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals played the season’s first Super Over in their latest game against Rajasthan Royals. They came out on top and secured their fifth win in six matches, placing them at the top of the league table.
Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals have faced each other five times in the Indian Premier League. DC leads the head-to-head with three wins, while GT has secured two victories.
At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the teams have met twice. DC emerged victorious on both occasions, winning by 5 runs in 2023 and by 6 wickets in 2024.
Over the past five seasons, DC has had the upper hand, clinching three out of five encounters. Their most recent win was a close 4-run victory in Delhi during the 2024 season.

Sai Sudharsan (GT): Sudharsan has been in great form this season, consistently scoring runs at the top. His solid batting has helped Gujarat Titans post strong totals. He is currently the second-highest run scorer with 329 runs in six matches, just 38 runs behind Nicholas Pooran, who has played seven games.
Mitchell Starc (DC): Starc played a key role in Delhi Capitals’ last win against Rajasthan Royals, bowling a tight final over and an outstanding Super Over. He is now Delhi’s leading wicket-taker with 10 wickets in just six matches this season.
Two in-form teams will clash on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium, home of Gujarat Titans. Delhi Capitals have won the last three matches against GT, and based on current form, they are likely to continue their winning streak.
Delhi defeated Gujarat twice last season, and they are in even better form now with five wins in their last six games—currently the best record in the league.
Sai Sudharsan has been very consistent, scoring 49 or more in all but one match this season. He already has four fifties, making over 30.5 runs a strong bet.
Delhi hit exactly 7 sixes in each of their last 3 games, but in all those matches, their opponents hit more. GT have smashed 9 sixes in their last 2 home games, making them the better pick for most sixes.
