UEFA Nations League is about to begin in some style on Thursday evening with the clash between the current and the former World Cup champions.

Les Bleus, whose shining performances guided them to the crown this summer in Russia, will kick off UEFA’s new competition with a tough trip to Munich where they’ll take on Germany in a mouth-watering clash of the titans.

The head coach Didier Deschamps practically made no changes to the squad that won the World Cup. He called up the same 23 players with the exception of Steve Mandanda. Germans will be the more motivated side to get off to a victorious start to the UEFA Nations League campaign following their shocking group stage elimination in Russia. They won just one of three games there, losing the final fixture against Korea Republic who have already been eliminated.

However, the momentum is entirely on France’s side and we just can’t ignore the 1.55 odds offered for the visitors not to lose here.
